Itinerary

As you arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh city, a local guide will meet you (outside the Exit). He (and the driver) also gives you an overview of the central Ho Chi Minh City from the heart of HCMC, old area to the new part.
Accommodation in Ho Chi Minh city.
Option: It will be a great experience if you accept adventure to ride pillion on vintage vespa scooter through narrow streets. You will see the night life in Saigon, taste local dishes and street food then enjoy drink at local bar with live music.

In the morning, you’ll go to the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a Byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers, rooms and booby traps used by both the Vietminh and the Viet Cong to suddenly materialise as if from nowhere, launch a lightning ambush, and vanish equally rapidly.
In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Reunification Hall in centre Ho Chi Minh city. It is an early colonial masterpiece constructed to accommodate the Governor – general of Indochina, it is also the site of the end of Vietnam War so it helps you understanding a part of Vietnam history. Then, the Jade Emperor Temple will let you know one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam, with superb effigies, remarkable carved panels of the descent to Hell and somewhat incongruous terrapin and tortoise sanctuaries.
You’ll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh city.

You leave Ho Chi Minh city to drive to the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam. Through the cable-stayed bridge My Thuan over the Mekong river to come to Vinh Long, you continue to Vung Liem, a rustic area along Mekong river. Now you stretch your leg to walk countryside path to a local lodge, check in and have a rest before having lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you select bicycles for a cycling tour around village paths leading us to home of Mr. Cong where you watch how he makes pop rice, shows you the blend of traditional and modern agricultural method that sustains the local village. He will reveal the secret of making 'rice pop'. This unique and nutritious foodstuff will become a gift for locals or children in school. Continuing riding on quiet village roads passing by a duck farm, green rice paddies, sedge field, you visit dragon or orange fruit plantations and taste in the garden. Enjoy the beautiful sunset then refresh and you walk to home of a neighbor who fought during the Vietnam war and will shared with his stories.
After a cooking class, now you are the chef making Vietnamese pancake. Dinner is served at lodge's restaurant, you stay overnight in Vung Liem.

Breakfast then you see loaded boats transporting goods such as coconuts from one factory to the other, crossing local ferry to visit beautiful Cao Dai temple. We also have a chance to see factories situated alongside the river, you can watch processing to remove coconut shells and processing coconut fibers. If time permitted, you learn weaving water coconut leaves - a main material in the Mekong Delta to build the walls and roof of the houses.
Good bye local people in Vung Liem, you take the car to move to Tra Vinh city. Tra Vinh is diverse cultural treasures, especially the tangible and intangible culture of the Khmer, many pagodas with unique architecture and natural harmony. Come to the Khmer Culture Museum here, you will see many objects of material and mental life of Khmer people, especially ancient letter about Buddhist scripture. Ang pagoda is a well-known religious site with nice scene and artworks associated with Angkor culture.
It is good now to leave Tra Vinh and you continue driving to Can Tho city for dinner and overnight stay.

Start at 6:00 am, we take the boat to Cai Rang Floating Market – the biggest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. It is the great chance you can see local people buy and sell onboard and traditional rural lifestyle in Mekong Delta. You would like interacting with boat owners, then continue to local house to see making well-known rice noodle in Can Tho. Depending on the tide, you may cruise to orchards or visit local families. Otherwise, you come back to hotel for breakfast and relaxing.
Later, you take the car to leave Can Tho on Can Tho bridge and go through Vinh Long city to come Vinh Long Pottery village to see hundreds brick kilns produced in the area.
You have lunch in Vinh Long and drive back to Ho Chi Minh city to relax, stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Today, you take flight to Danang and explore Danang city.
Upon arriving Danang airport, the local guide will show you Son Tra peninsula, also knowing as Monkey mountain - a base of US military during Vietnam war, here you can having panorama view to Danang city center. You visit the Linh Ung pagoda and Lady Buddha, and Cham museum to have a brief look at the remarkable Hindu statuary, than see beautiful bridges on Han rivers.
You stay overnight in Danang

In the morning, you drive along the My Khe and Non Nuoc beach to visit the Marble Mountains. You discover caves, pagodas and shrines, view to Non Nuoc beach. At the base of the Marble mountain, you explore the Non Nuoc hamlet, known as stone sculpture village.
Arriving Hoi An, you come to Tra Que herb garden veggie village, meet local farmers and listen the tour guide explanation on “organic farm” at Tra Que.
In the afternoon, you explore Hoi An ancient town. You will stroll around Hoi An town to visit the Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Communal House, Tan Ky Traditional House, Museum, Handicraftsman Art Work… Thence, you walk to market or spend time do shopping or experience ambia nce in this ancient own at cafes along old streets.
Overnight stay in Hoi An.

After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the UNECO World Heritage ‘My Son Sanctuary’. Your guide will show you the remains of the remarkable towers constructed by the Cham builders, many centuries ago - their origins and purpose have yet to be fully explained.
Back to Hoi An town for lunch. You have free time to until leaving to Danang airport for afternoon flight to Hanoi capital of Vietnam. Overnight accommodation in Hanoi.

In the morning, your guide will take you to the Thang Long Imperial Citadel recognised UNESCO World Heritage Site. You do not see only the ancient Forbidden City but also Archaeological Site and connecting tunnel used as the headquarter of Vietnam Army during Vietnam war.
After lunch, the excellent Ethnology Museum gives you an overview of Vietnam’s 54 distinct ethnic groups, their life, culture and traditional costumes.
Late afternoon, you will come to Hoan Kiem Lake, take photos at the famous Huc Bridge and explore Ngoc Son temple. The temple is prominent at a small island right in the lake. You have opportunity wandering the hectic Old Quarter, a maze of shopping streets, traditional tube houses, colonial houses, religious buildings, and artisans’ workshops.
Dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.

Late breakfast then you drive to Halong, located about 180km east of Hanoi. Arriving at Tuan Chau Harbor, you are welcomed by receptionist, leave your luggage at cruise lounge. The crew will transfer you to the boat/ship cruise by tender, thence you have a brief and safety guideline for your Halong Bay cruise in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After checking in and having cabin, you enjoy lunch on-board with many special dishes of Halong while the boat/ship starts the voyage through the bay of thousands islands. You can join with activities during the cruise, also view the scenic seascape and turquoise islands. There are a lot of time for taking photos and/or sunbathing on upper deck.
You have dinner and overnight cruise on boat.

Enjoy the fresh atmosphere, watch the sunrise and view the landscape in the Bay before you have your breakfast on boat. Later, you visit the famous sites, time for kayaking, explore the stunning views of dramatic limestone islets.
You have time to relax, check out and enjoy lunch (or brunch) at restaurant on boat.
By 12:30, the boat return to Tuan Chau harbor, thence you disembark the boat cruise and taking the bus/car to drive back to Hanoi.
Upon coming back to Hanoi city, you check in your hotel then have free time to enjoy your own.
The last night in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Today you visit Bat Trang pottery village established in the 14th or 15th century, nowadays it is a commercial area with many workshop and shops of diverse products. You explore the old village, walk through the village and through the ceramics market and continue the Bat Trang Ceramic museum.
You come back city centre for lunch, be free until time for drive to Noi Bai airport for your international departure flight.

DEPOSIT

(1.1) FIT – An initial deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking.
(1.2) Leisure groups – An initial deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking.
(1.3) Incentive and MICE groups – An initial deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking.
(1.4) In some circumstances it may be necessary for us to request additional deposits due to the contracture requirements of our suppliers. SKY ASIA TRAVEL will advise you of the complete conditions attached to any deposits required at the time of confirmation.
(1.5) In the event of the non-payment of any requested deposit, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
(1.6) Note that if many extra services are booked after initial confirmation, Cashel Travel may require extra payments.
(1.7) Please note initial deposits (20%) are non-refundable

CONFIRMATION

Following the receipt of the initial deposit, the client will be furnished with a confirmation of the tour details. The client shall immediately notify in writing if any errors are noted. SKY ASIA TRAVEL shall not be responsible for any errors not so notified.
+/ Full payment must be received 45 days prior to the tour/programme commencement date unless credit facilities agreed.
+/ In the event of the non-payment by due date we reserve the right to cancel the reservation, and in such event all deposits received shall be non-refundable.
+/ In the event of billing errors we reserve the right to re-invoice the correct amount.
+/ Amendments: In the event of cancellation of individual participants which results in changes in number of passengers within the group, SKY ASIA TRAVEL might apply a charge.
