Program day by day

Upon arriving Siem Reap, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. You will spend the night in Siem Reap.

This morning, you will wake up early and stay your day at 05:30 am to the Mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Believed to be the world's largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers. Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, this is most famous temple at Angkor. You will stay at Angkor Wat to enjoy a local breakfast then venture into Angkor Wat to enjoy its magnificence in peace and quiet, beginning at the bas-reliefs that tell of tales from Hindu mythology and of the glories of the Khmer empire.

You then visit the immense walled city of Angkor Thom that was the masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII. The scale is simply staggering and you are immediately overwhelmed by the audacity of Jayavarman on arrival at the city’s gates. You then visit the Terrace of the Leper King, continue along the Terrace of Elephants, and visit the Baphuon, once of the most beautiful temples at Angkor, dating from the 11th century. It has undergone a massive renovation by the French and is now once again open for viewing. Our climax is the enigmatic and enchanting temple of the Bayon. Its 54 towers are each topped off with the four faces of Avalokiteshvara (Buddha of Compassion), which bear more than a passing resemblance to the king himself. You unravel the mysteries of the temple’s bas-reliefs, with their intricate scenes of ancient battles against the Chams and their snapshot of daily life during the Angkor period. You then transfer back to your hotel for relaxation at around 17.00pm

At 18.00pm, you will discover Siem Reap after dark on the back of Vespa scooter. This foodie adventure is an experiential roller coaster through the vibrant Siem Reap dining and social scene mixing high end with real local style!

You will kick off with cocktails at one of the town’s most stylish venues as the sun sets. You then ride pillion on jazzy modern Vespa along the Siem Reap Riverside to an evening local market, and then a holy shrine to set us up for this evening adventure.

You will cruise through the busy streets of this ancient heritage town and introduce you to many aspects of Khmer cuisine – from street markets to food stalls, from exotic fruits to fried bugs (yes, bugs!), to high end fusion drinks and classic Khmer dishes. This is a unique tour that embraces the local hustle and bustle of street markets and vendors and the accompanying sights, smells, and sounds. You also meet local families making merry, enjoying BBQ meats, shopping for clothes and playing games at the local fun fair. It’s a fun and varied tour that embodies the fun-loving nature of the wonderful people of Cambodia! All food and drinks are included on this acclaimed Siem Reap food tour so please, bring a healthy appetite! (Private vespa tour)

Transferring back to your hotel at around 22.00 pm, you will spend the night in Siem Reap.

After breakfast, you will travel southeast to one of the largest and least-visited villages on the Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Khleang, about 55km from Siem Reap. It has a population of about 10,000 people, all of who make a living from the fishing industry. We explore the canals (Feb is wet season) of this incredible town. During this time, the houses appear to be floating, as water laps at the verandas; You will visit one of the pagodas here, built on the site of an ancient temple, and see the wall paintings. You may also stop off to visit a house in the village to learn a little more about local life. You then cruise into the open water of the great lake to see a small floating village and learn some more about this incredible natural flood barrier. After lunch time, you will transfer back to your hotel for relaxation.

We will pick you up by 4:30PM depend on the sunset timing of the weather change, arrive at Cambodia Quad Bike ready for your quad riding tour by going to the quite back road of the village....

You will spend the night in Siem Reap.

After breakfast, you’ll be free until your driver pick up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Hanoi.
Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. You’ll spend the night in Hanoi.

Today, meet your guide and driver in the early morning at 7:00 AM and head towards Hoan Kiem Lake. It is a popular practice in Vietnam to awake very early and start the morning with some exercise. You’ll see several groups of people here practicing tai chi and aerobics. Immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture and join the locals in their morning routine.

Passing Ngoc Son Temple, you will visit a traditional coffee shop for a taste of Vietnam’s local iced coffee, ‘Ca phe sua da’. If you're up for it, you can also try the ‘Egg coffee’. Continue from here to find some street food; we recommend the delicious ‘banh mi’, a typical baguette sandwich filled with a variety of fresh local ingredients. Later, proceed farther into Hanoi’s Old Quarter for glimpses of French architectural influence as seen in different Vietnamese buildings. The first stop will be the St. Joseph Cathedral, a French gothic building constructed in 1886. Next, you’ll arrive at Hoa Lo Prison, where Vietnamese, American and French prisoners were kept in different periods. Vietnam is justifiably well known for its food, and you will now stop by a ‘Bun Cha’ restaurant to try this specialty of Hanoi.

After lunch, you will visit the Temple of Literature. Built in 1076, this temple was the site of Vietnam’s first university, established to educate Vietnam's royalty, mandarins and members of the elite. The day’s final sightseeing stop will be at the railway line cutting through urban Hanoi, sometimes running just meters away from the front doors of houses! Walking along a stretch of the railway with your guide offers some incredible photo opportunities. The tour will finish, in true local style, at a Bia Hoi where you can enjoy some local draft beer. Note that innumerable street food specialties will be available throughout the day; to best appreciate them you may wish to skip your hotel breakfast before this tour.

The show is a poetic depiction of the ancient rhythm of Vietnamese village life - fishing, farming and harvesting rendered with graceful strokes. This breath-taking contemporary circus performance features stunning acrobatics, graceful contortion and top-notch juggling, performed by dedicated artists. Live music is performed on some 20 different folk instruments played by musical scholars cum artists. Wondrously creative visions created with bamboo - considered the soul of village life - depict river or mountain, peace or war, as you explore the memory of ancient Vietnam For more information, please visit website at: https://www.luneproduction.com/my-village.
