Upon arriving Siem Reap, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. You will spend the night in Siem Reap.
This morning, you will wake up early and stay your day at 05:30 am to the Mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Believed to be the world's largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers. Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, this is most famous temple at Angkor. You will stay at Angkor Wat to enjoy a local breakfast then venture into Angkor Wat to enjoy its magnificence in peace and quiet, beginning at the bas-reliefs that tell of tales from Hindu mythology and of the glories of the Khmer empire.
You then visit the immense walled city of Angkor Thom that was the masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII. The scale is simply staggering and you are immediately overwhelmed by the audacity of Jayavarman on arrival at the city’s gates. You then visit the Terrace of the Leper King, continue along the Terrace of Elephants, and visit the Baphuon, once of the most beautiful temples at Angkor, dating from the 11th century. It has undergone a massive renovation by the French and is now once again open for viewing. Our climax is the enigmatic and enchanting temple of the Bayon. Its 54 towers are each topped off with the four faces of Avalokiteshvara (Buddha of Compassion), which bear more than a passing resemblance to the king himself. You unravel the mysteries of the temple’s bas-reliefs, with their intricate scenes of ancient battles against the Chams and their snapshot of daily life during the Angkor period. You then transfer back to your hotel for relaxation at around 17.00pm
At 18.00pm, you will discover Siem Reap after dark on the back of Vespa scooter. This foodie adventure is an experiential roller coaster through the vibrant Siem Reap dining and social scene mixing high end with real local style!
You will kick off with cocktails at one of the town’s most stylish venues as the sun sets. You then ride pillion on jazzy modern Vespa along the Siem Reap Riverside to an evening local market, and then a holy shrine to set us up for this evening adventure.

This is a unique tour that embraces the local hustle and bustle of street markets and vendors and the accompanying sights, smells, and sounds. You also meet local families making merry, enjoying BBQ meats, shopping for clothes and playing games at the local fun fair. It has a population of about 10,000 people, all of who make a living from the fishing industry. We explore the canals (Feb is wet season) of this incredible town. During this time, the houses appear to be floating, as water laps at the verandas; You will visit one of the pagodas here, built on the site of an ancient temple, and see the wall paintings. You’ll see several groups of people here practicing tai chi and aerobics. Immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture and join the locals in their morning routine.
Passing Ngoc Son Temple, you will visit a traditional coffee shop for a taste of Vietnam’s local iced coffee, ‘Ca phe sua da’. If you're up for it, you can also try the ‘Egg coffee’. Continue from here to find some street food; we recommend the delicious ‘banh mi’, a typical baguette sandwich filled with a variety of fresh local ingredients. Later, proceed farther into Hanoi’s Old Quarter for glimpses of French architectural influence as seen in different Vietnamese buildings. The first stop will be the St. Joseph Cathedral, a French gothic building constructed in 1886.
