Itinerary
As you arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh city, a local guide (and the driver) also gives you an overview of the central Ho Chi Minh City.
The guide will then take you to the vibrant and bustling Cholon (Chinatown Saigon), a mix area of old and new things. If time available, you may explore the big Binh Tay market and do shopping as you want.
In the morning, you leave Ho Chi Minh city and drive to Cai Thia in Cai Be, Mekong Delta. You leave the car and embark a boat cruise to visit local houses and see daily life in a part of the Mekong Delta.
It is great to take a bicycle in one hour to ride through small beautiful roads and famous mango village to see orchards, traditional houses, schools, pagoda….
After biking, you come back to Cai Thia village and enjoy lunch onboard while the boat cruises through Mekong river to An Binh island.
Afternoon, you come to the homestay to mingle with local people, relaxing your own or join cooking local dishes with the owner or her family member(s). Dinning and tasting local rice wine at the homestay.
You stay overnight in one of homestay in An Binh in private room.
After breakfast at the homestay, the boat will cruise canals in Mekong Delte and take you to Vinh Long market. You will see many fruits, vegetables and river seafood can be seen in the Mekong Delta.
You stop at traditional family-run brick kilns, also Vinh Long Pottery village to look local people making potteries from clay.
Downstreaming the Mekong river, you will see floating cages of farming fish. There is options lunch on boat (with extra charge). Later, you return to the homestay for afternoon fun soaking Mekong mud to catch fish by your hand.
You enjoy dinner with your fish and overnight homestay.
Leaving the homestay, the rowing boat takes you deeper into small canals. Also, you come to Tan Phong island, taking a bicycle or walking to see local farms and some houses to understand real life in Mekong delta, also to know handicraft products in the village and how they weave water hyacinth…..
Before lunch time, you leave the island, cruise to Cai Be town, and meet your driver for a drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
You spend the night in HMC.
Breakfast at hotel then your time for relaxing.
You should be available on time for drive to Tan Son Nhat airport for your international departure flight (or for your flight to the next destination).

(1.1) FIT – An initial deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking.
(1.2) Leisure groups – An initial deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking.

(1.4) In some circumstances it may be necessary for us to request additional deposits due to the contracture requirements of our suppliers. SKY ASIA TRAVEL will advise you of the complete conditions attached to any deposits required at the time of confirmation.
(1.5) In the event of the non-payment of any requested deposit, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
(1.6) Note that if many extra services are booked after initial confirmation, Cashel Travel may require extra payments.
(1.7) Please note initial deposits (20%) are non-refundable
Following the receipt of the initial deposit, the client will be furnished with a confirmation of the tour details. The client shall immediately notify in writing if any errors are noted. SKY ASIA TRAVEL shall not be responsible for any errors not so notified.

+/ In the event of the non-payment by due date we reserve the right to cancel the reservation, and in such event all deposits received shall be non-refundable.
