This 6-day tour is a combination of the Southern and Central Vietnam. It covers Ho Chi Minh City with few infamous places, and Ben Thanh market the biggest local market in the city. The tour also cover one day trip to Ben Tre, the town of coconut trees where you can experience the waterway life in the Mekong delta. Flying to Danang, you have time for the must see Ba Na hills and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, My Khe Beach, and then spend two nights in Hoi An ancient town with a hands-on cooking class – a dream place which you will miss so much when you return home. Itinerary
Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City in the morning, the tour guide is waiting for you and take you to your hotel to leave your luggage if necessary. Check in time is at 2PM, early check in is subject to availability.
At 9AM, your guide will pick up and show you around Ho Chi Minh City. You’ll take photos from the outside of the Notre Dame Catholic Church (District 1), the one was built in 1877 in French architecture.
Proceed to Jade Emperor Temple. You’ll also call in at the Jade Emperor Temple. It’s one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam, with superb effigies, remarkable carved panels of the descent to Hell and somewhat incongruous terrapin and tortoise sanctuaries.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will visit some of most attractive destinations such as Reunification Palace and War Museum. You’ll then wander around the huge Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh City, is packed with every conceivable commodity. You’ll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.
In the morning, you’ll be picked up at your hotel at about eight o’clock to travel to Ben Tre.
After 2 hours driving from HCM city, you will arrive Ben Tre province. Take the boat to visit a local factory to see many kilns to make activated charcal from coconut hard-shell.
Crossing Mekong river, called Cửa Đại and Cửa Tiểu, 30km far from the Eastern Sea, you arrive Tam Hiêp Island where you will walk on small village paths through huge orchards to arrive the local family to enjoy some kinds of fruits, honey-tea.
Next, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time.
Biking to special farm where they are planting the creepers (called LÁ SÂM). You will pick up some leaves for making and tasting this special herbal jelly.
The boat will take us to Út Trinh homestay have the best lunch at Ut Trinh’s home. After lunch, you are back to the boat to Long Định village where you will mee your driver again. You leave Ben Tre and return to Ho Chi Minh city for overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will take the noon flight to Danang. Arriving at Danang airport, you’ll be met by your tour guide and driven to your hotel in Danang to check in.
In the evening, you are free to wander around Danang, visit the Dragon Bridge, the symbol of Danang to see
the Fire show of the bridge if the date is in Saturday. You will spend the night in Danang.
The morning is for your leisure time in My Khe Beach.
Around noon, you will check out and drive to have lunch before visiting Ba Na Hill. The Ba Na Hills Mountain resort is a wonderful mix of surreal fun and classic beauty — the perfect place for you to escape the heat. You will take the cable car up to the Ba Na Hills, have time to take photos at Le Jardin D’Amour gardens, Golden Bridge and the Giant Buddha Statue, enjoy entertainment at Fantasy Park, explore Bar Debay- Wine Cellar and French Village or spiritual attractions, or try the funicular train (your own expense). Your experiences with Ba Na Hills will surely be the most enjoyable memories in the trip.
Late afternoon, you will take the cable car down Ba Na Hills, meet our driver for to Hoi An. Check in your hotel in Hoi An. The evening is at your leisure to spend time in Hoi An
In the morning, our driver will pick you up and drive you to the restaurant, where you’ll be ready at the restaurant at 9AM to join the cooking class.
The local chef will take you to travel to the local market to purchase ingredients. The most interesting thing is to go to the local market for picking the right ingredients yourself. After that is two hours of practicing with our chef.
You’ll have two choices: Cooking delicious “Cơm gà Hội An”(Hoian style chicken rice) or “Phở gà lá chanh” (Vietnamese chicken noodle soup). Despite of the simple look, their amazing and delicate taste requires some focus and skills. Join this class to grab our tips, in order to bring its totally genuine flavor back to your hometown.
In the afternoon, you’ll stroll around the Ancient Town and your guide will explain its considerable significance in the history of Vietnam.
You will spend the night in Hoi An.
After free time, you will be picked up and driven to the airport for your departure flight.
