In 2021, Irish publisher International Living named Phu Quoc Island among the world’s 15 best islands to retire thanks to its beaches, low cost of living, rich culture and history, and variety of urban to rural areas to live. Phu Quoc, dubbed ‘pearl island’, has become a top tourist destination after it built an international airport in 2012 and the government rolled out a 30-day visa-free policy for foreigners in 2014.
Besides the beaches, much of the island is covered by forest, part of which is protected as a Forest Reserve. To the south are several small islands that can be visited by boat. There are plenty of opportunities for fishing and snorkelling, and diving. Facilities for visitors are quite good now with plenty of high-end hotels/resorts.

Island hopping during the daytime
The third day of this Phu Quoc Tropical Beach Meeting 7 Days tour will be for an excursion to the pristine beaches and islands to the south of Phu Quoc. The southern part is the most famous touristic spot in Phu Quoc with a long list of enchantingly beautiful destinations on both the main island and the adjacent empty islets.
It’s time to explore the small islands and islets on the southern coast of Phu Quoc Island: Hon Dua, Hon Thom, May Rut. You will board on a yacht to hop to the uninhabited land, where you can get involved in several fascinating games like swimming, going fishing, and so on. Especially, the waters here are exceptionally transparent, making it ideal for tourists to observe the coral reefs, either you dive deep into the sea or just sit on the boat. If you want to catch the bird’s eye view of the sea, consider riding the cable car. The record-setting cable car leading to Hon Thom Islet offers an exquisite view that would make your jaw drop. Star Beach: After having a slap-up lunch on the yacht or the islands, you will sail back to Phu Quoc Island and transfer to the awe-inspiring Star Beach for sightseeing and photographing. The seashore is full of starfish, which appears excellently beautiful on photos.
Free at leisure in Phu Quoc island. Farewell dinner at your hotel.
Free until being transferred to the airport for the departure flight.
